S T E P   O N E   -   S I Z E   &   P R I C I N G

If you would like to commission a portrait for yourself or a loved one you have come to the right place. Commissioning an artwork is a simple process. First have a look at my price guide below and decide on a portrait size and price that best suits you.

One of the most important parts of commissioning a portrait is the photo. The clearer the photograph, the more detailed your portrait will be. Make sure to choose a photo which best conveys your pet's or loved one's personality. For more information please have a look at my photo guide below for tips in choosing that perfect photo. It also helps having a selection of photographs to work from. The more photographs you supply me with, the better. This enables me to create a true representation of your beloved pet or loved one.

Once you have decided on a size and you have a few photographs ready you can either contact me via my website, Facebook or Instagram with a description of what you are wanting done and include any relevant information or special requests i.e. if you need your portrait completed by a specific date such as a birthday or anniversary. Once I have replied you will be asked to send through your photographs and we can begin the process of creating your portrait.

PHOTO GUIDE

Photographs are the most important part in the commission process - especially good quality photographs. I have a detailed and realistic style. The higher the quality of the photo the more detailed and realistic your commission will be. I can work from low resolution photographs if absolutely necessary, but please be aware your portrait may not be as detailed as some of my drawings displayed in my gallery.

This guide will explain how to choose the right photograph for your commission in order to create a realistic, vibrant portrait that's full of life and character.

If you need any help in choosing the right photograph or you are unsure of it's quality, feel free to email me and I can have a look and see whether it would be suitable.

YOUR SUBJECT IS NO LONGER WITH US

If you are commissioning a portrait of a pet or a loved one who has sadly passed away, I understand that you may not have a wide selection of photographs to choose from and that is okay. Send me as many photographs as you can and I will help you to achieve the best result.
